Enrichment
At Priory Rise we provide enrichment opportunities so children may apply and develop their knowledge and skills, in a range of contexts, in and out of the classroom. Enrichment will offer children the chance to gain confidence, learn how to communicate effectively with others to work as a team, deepen understanding, build relationships and encourage good citizenship. Opportunities include; local walks, trips, workshops -face to face and virtual- and residential stays, in and out of school. Some experiences will come at a cost to parents, school and Friends of Priory Rise fund some, and others are free of charge. To find out more explore the year group enrichment overviews.
In addition to providing enrichment opportunities to enhance each year group’s curriculum, the children will experience a number of other opportunities celebrating the faiths across our school, careers, and learn about the important work that charities do, how we can support them through fundraising, to help people living in crisis.
Our whole school curriculum is supplemented by a programme of sports, music and arts, including celebration assemblies throughout the year.
